a week in Barcelona

We just got back from a week in Barcelona. I tried to keep a travel journal as we experienced this amazing city. In the end, my sketch book was filled with five days of the food and drinks we enjoyed. I can honestly say, that beside the most incredible art and architecture, this city has the most delicious things to eat and drink. If you have a chance to go, try the cafe con leche and don't miss the olive oil.

Great sketches, I wish I could go to Barcelona. My mom and friends both went and loved it so much.

Nice drawings, go with the watercolors, make a puddle of water on your paper, add a brushload of saturated orange on one side of the puddle and red on the opposite side of the puddle tip the paper a bit to let the colors mingle.( colors close to each other on the colorwheel, opposits will mingle and make grey or brown) My favorite thing about watercolor... what it does on its own!

Welcome to the EDM group. You've made a great start on the challenges, and I really like your good food composition.
