the first day of spring

I grew up in northern California and when I think of spring, I think of warm days, dark rich soil, green rolling hills dotted with oak trees and poppies, flowering fruit trees and the yellow fields of mustard blooming. Spring is very different here in Maine, but beautiful in its own brownish, grayish way...

A beautiful drawing, I love it! We thought we had spring a few days ago, but now winter has returned... Oh well, it won´t be long now...

I've always liked your work, it is a nice mixture of pen and ink and other medians, keep up the good work!

You have nice clean style. You should make graphic novels... ;)

Very pleasing to the eye! And if I didn't know better, I would think you were sitting on the northern shores of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.

I love the rich greens you used in this...and I adore that little bench. I have decided that would fast become a favorite place of mine.

Ahhh...soon the warm breezes of the desert will warm your heart!

This is lovely. I really enjoy coming here and seeing your work. Spring in Maine sounds a lot like our spring here, we are way up in the mountains. Daffodils have bloomed and snow is in the forecast. Spring here is slow coming but wonderful when it finally does :)
